* Means item is good for families but also good for adults-only picnics

Hayrides*

Covered wagons pulled by a tractor that looks like a cow, tour the back trails of our 100 acres. The sight is incredible. 250,000 Christmas trees, the sound of birds, the smell of pine and spruce, the wild flowers and the pure oxygen filled air, create an atmosphere that is unbeatable.

Olympic Games*

Our experienced staff organizes your group into teams that compete in old fashioned picnic games such as potato sack races, tugs of war, three legged races, ball races, chin passes and more. Each member of a winning team gets a red ribbon and a pin. By the end of the Olympics many people will have a chest full of ribbons. Those that do not, get a participation ribbon. The Olympics is an opportunity for adults and children to interact together on the same team fostering family interaction and group cohesiveness.

BBQ's*

As can be seen in our price list, we offer quarter pound sirloin burgers, hot dogs, chips, peach punch, fruit punch, Pepsi products, corn on the cob, cole slaw, salad with special vinaigrette dressing, melon, creamy Nestle ice cream and coffee. (Up to 5% of a party is allowed 2 veggie burgers each instead of meat.) All of our food, except the veggie burgers, is offered on an all you can eat basis. If more than 5% of the people require veggie burgers than they are available on a 2 per person basis for an additional $2.00 per person.

Treasure Hunt*

Your group divides themselves into teams of 4, 5, or 6 people. (Children and adults can be on the same team.) Each group receives a velvet bag and a sheet of paper with 12 to 16 riddles and a map of the farm. As the starting horn blows, the teams comb the 100 acres, interpreting the riddles to see what they must bring back in the bag. The first team back wins a great prize for each member of the team. Of course we have many different treasure hunts because so many people come back every year.

Maze*

At the top of the Sandpit, and half way up Magic Hill stands the Amazing Maze. Children and adults alike make their way through the maze trying to find the right route out. (We clean the maze every Tuesday and anyone left inside will be sent back to you at that time)

Ruleless Square

This is the place without rules, where kids can do all the things they cannot do at home; write on walls, jump on mattresses, walk in puddles, yell through a bullhorn, bang on drums and pails with special bats, and climb stairs and jump off into the straw!

Ye Olde Mine

This looks like an old mine shaft because it is built into a hill but it is completely above ground. The children climb through it and look for gold. They do actually find gold stones that we place there.

Capture the Flag*

One of the options that is available to any group is our version of the original war game. Whether it be in our back field forest or our hilltop field, Capture the Flag is a back to the earth competition that will thrill groups of 20 to 200. ( We have actually had 400 competing at one time utilizing both playing fields) Essentially there is a team wearing red arm bands who are trying to escape with the opposing teams yellow flag. The team wearing the yellow arm bands is conversely trying to steal the flag of the red team. Team members that are caught are kept in jail until their mates can free them.

Magic Show*

Our world renowned magicians have
performed at Magic Hill for years
and have brought tears and laughter
to thousands of children and adults alike.
This is truly a memorable ending to a fantastic party. Shows are performed in the 800 seat outdoor Sunset Theatre, or the Covered Green Tent Cabaret"

Cuddly Characters

Walk around characters that wave and hug the kids are available. We have Dino the Dinosaur, Harvey the Rabbit, Daisy the Cow (one person or two), Doris the Duck, Chippy the Chipmunk, and Rudolph the Reindeer.

Giants Playground

A 50 foot giant, who was just a baby, visited the farm 8 years ago and left all his toys. There is an 18 foot shovel and sand pail that the kids can crawl in, a huge hockey stick and puck, an 18 foot wheelbarrow, a giant red flyer wagon and much much more. (Let us not forget the huge sand box filled with toys that the young ones can play in).

Sandpit Climb

This 40 foot sand hill was left 50 years ago and is a fantastic play hill with ropes hanging down for easy climbing. Anyone from 2 1/2 to 59 can climb this hill. It is so unique that young and old alike love to run up and down.

Jr. Boot Camp

Test your skills at Jr. Boot Camp, it is a jungle-like terrain where people have to climb through tires, crawl up and down ladders, balance on logs, crawl through a tunnel, and hop from stump to stump. Basically, it is an obstacle course and is designed to be used by anyone from two and a half to a hundred.

Face Painting

Mr. Picasso artistically paints faces on the young and old alike. All this takes place on a special "operating" table that the kids find to be a true special event.

Balloon Art

Our Balloon artist can produce a multitude of animals and entertain young and old but the most popular things are swords and hats made from balloons! We always offer our guarantee that if the balloon does not break before they leave the farm, they can bring it to us and we will break it for them.

Soccer*

Our new soccer field is a big hit. It is now located in our old parking lot and is close to everything. It has been really popular with the adult crowds.

Green Tent Cabaret*

Our 4000 square foot open air Cabaret offers protection from sun and rain

Beach Volleyball*

Our natural sand pit turned out to be a great place to put our court.
It is one of the busiest places during "free time".

Basketball
*

We have three nets for both half court action and full court games.

Swimming in Magic Springs Pond
*

Our newly opened private beach is great for swimming especially on those hot summer days. The water is fresh and clean and great for cooling off after some of the other more "athletic" activities.

Magic Springs Sponge Fight Area
*

Popular beyond our wildest expectations, the Magic Springs water fun area is a busy place. Water jets from the surrounding poles and from the ground surprise everyone because the computer doesn't let you know which one is going to hit you next. The best part is that the whole area is grass and an intricate system below ground carries the water away before it has a chance to pool. The hundreds of sponges and the huge water buckets interspersed throughout the area have added to the fun as wet sponge fights erupt continuously.

Tether Ball Forest
*

A gaggle of tether ball posts in all sizes are a popular place right next to Bunnytown and down by the beach.

Bunnytown*

Bunnytown is a western town inhabited by our flop eared friends. Guests are encouraged to pick greenery from the surrounding area and feed the fluffy ones right out of their hands. Bales of hay surround the compound so guests can sit and watch the goings on for as long as they like.

Soak the Boss Sponge Toss*

Magic Hills improved version of the Dunk Tank is our stockade that holds head and hands while guests throw wet sponges. More fun, easier to do, faster people changes, safer, and funnier!

The Mining Camp

New for 2001, the Magic Hill Mining Camp contains a Jail, Grub Hut, Shorty's Mine, Cemetery, The Man Eating Chicken and more.

Boot Camp
*

For those liking a challenge, this commando obstacle course is not for wimps.
